Last night was my first time at Da Bistro. My husband ordered lulya kebab, and I ordered lamb kebab -- each of us sharing. Both of us liked both kebabs -- tender and grilled just right. Our rolls, salad, lavash, and grilled veggies were delicious. The server was attentive, and we enjoyed talking to the owner. We will definitely return!

Worst meal and service i have had in years! Any positive reviews on here are probably from the owners/staff/friends. I should have known when i walked in and it was a Mediterranean / pizza joint being ran by two shady Russian guys i was in for trouble. Lets start off with service : we placed our order for a sabra plate a falafel plate and an order of frys. We were told our food would be out in 10 minutes, we came back over 15-20 mins later and our food was still not ready. He told me "plates will be up in a minute" at that point i see him dumping frozen frys into the dryer . At that point in time i told him i needed to get be somewhere shortly and asked him to take the fry off my bill and let me get my plates so i could be on my way. He brushed me off, i asked him again to take it off my bill and to let me have my food. He told me frys would be done in 5 minutes. I told him that i had already waited twice as long as he told me it would take and that i needed to be on my way. At that point he raised his voice to me and used some unkind words. if i hadnt already paid i would have left, instead i told him to check himself and realize that i am a customer supporting his business and i dont deserve to be treated in this manner. I told him i wanted my money back for the frys and i wanted my plates and to be on my way. He eventually several minutes later, after talking to his other employee making my food in another language(i think my food was tainted or messed with at this point), gave me my plates and the money back for the frys... such a pain to get my food and super rude and unhelpful staff And the food: wow, some of the worst food i have ever tasted. First off the babaganoush was definitely spoiled, it tasted sour and semi like gasoline. The pita tasted like a rice mooshoo wrap from a Chinese resturant. The falafel was not chickpea based, it was awful.. the texture was off, like little pebbles held together with fecal matter. The couscous was bland and uninspired . The humus was the only thing was okay and honestly that was pretty bad too. i took like a bite of each item and ended up throwing it all away. I felt like hell the next day and spent a lot of time on the toilet and in the bathroom A waste of time and money. Honestly you should stay far away from this place. The food they serve isn't fit for human consumption. I hope this review is helpful and steers you away from this hell hole if you were considering going. Seriously just find another restaurant to go to. If your starving the hunger pains you feel are probably not going to be as bad as the food poisoning you will get from eating their food.. Just go somewhere else or go hungry. DON'T EAT HERE

I absolutely LOVE Da Bistro! If you are looking for something fresh, tasteful, and healthy - you have to check this place out! Arkady is a genuine kind man - he is the head chef and will cook something custom for you if you ask! The pizza is also incredible if you are looking for a quick bite to eat. Check them out!

The first time I got food from this restaurant I had gotten delivery when they first opened. I got a Mediterranean Salad with eggplant, squash, and peppers. It was really delicious. However, when I went to eat in The food was not as good as I remembered. The service was slow even though we were the only ones there. I got the shrimp platter and it came with 4 small shrimp. I didn't see the salad I'd gotten originally on the menu the second time around. The environment is not the best so I don't think I'd ever eat-in again. Since it's the only real Mediterranean style restaurant in the area I'm willing to try it again however I will only order takeout or delivery.

Amazing! I got the chicken parm with pasta and almost ate it all. The chicken was fantastic, tender and flavorful. The sauce was outstanding. The bread was absolutely yummy. I am extremely picky and always find something that just isn't up to par, not here though. My other half had the lamb kabobs and he two said they were delicious. You have to try them you will not be disappointed.

Had a really enjoyable experience here last Sunday. I went here for dinner with my father and grandmother. We started with the antipasto appetizer, accompanied by their home made pita and rolls; all of which were amazing. I could have had the antipasto as my meal, it was great! For dinner, my dad ordered the lamb kebab. It was really tender and nice. My grandmother had the half Cornish hen, which was grilled to perfection and well seasoned. I went with the Bello salad, which was spinach, roasted peppers, portobello mushrooms, and goat cheese, and I added chicken. It was a really good salad, prettying all of my favorite salad toppings in one. The staff was super friendly and engaged, and we even met the chef/owner at the end of our meal. It was a great experience at a casual neighborhood establishment and there were plenty of healthy options which was perfect for us. We will be sure to return!

Had a party here a little while ago. Met with the owner, Arkady, a few times to set everything up. We got to choose a nice selection of items and got a very good deal too. The decor was nice and simple, and the food was very delicious. Our guests were very happy and we were happy that they were. The service was a little slow and the portions were not very big. I think everyone had enough to eat, but I feel like we should have had more. Especially when I think we had a few no shows and I know my wife and I hardly ate anything. The food though was very good and Arkady was very nice and accommodating.

What a find! We'd stopped in for lunch a few months ago and found ourselves in the neighborhood (PA Driver's License Center) tonight and returned to see if it would be just as good. We ordered the chicken cacciatore and Tuscan lasagne both of which came with side salads and fantastic bread. They were delicious and I had enough of the lasagne to take home for lunch. I ordered a Sabra Salad to take out to serve to friends tomorrow night because everything was so fresh. This is a lovely, clean restaurant and we'll look forward to returning soon.

Good food! Take out or eat in. Restaurant looks clean. I wish I could've taken advantage of the 15% off for checking in, but it wasn't available to me when I checked in.

The food and pizza is always good.I don't know what Sarah is talking about with the floppy pizza. I have never had any complaints.

Such a great place to have a family party. The restaurant is very plain. Nothing really exciting happening in the ambiance. The reason is, this place cooks everything to order and they take their time doing it. My recommendation to anyone looking to have a party...order in advance. That way the staff is prepared and has everything done before you get there. If you do order when you come in, the wait will be worth it. The kabobs and grilled vegetable are so delicious. I would also recommend the tuna brushetta. Great app. Best of all BYOB!

The restaurant is clean, the staff is very nice and the food was good. I am surprised there are not any reviews and the place was empty. We had a lamb giro and a shawarma sandwich, we enjoyed them both but liked the giro better. The prices are good, and it is also nice that there is a 15% off for checking in here. The only thing, as a suggestion: There is no changing table, which would have been uncomfortable if I had to change my baby. They do have high chairs and booster seats. If I was ever back in this neighborhood, I would probably come back.

Restaurant is small with only 2 waiters accommodating 7 or 8 tables. They seem to have a difficult time catering to large parties. We came on Saturday night with 12 people for a special occasion. Service was very very slow and they ran out of things very quickly. Also "family style" portions were too small to accommodate 12. Food was average at best. Overall, service appeared very disorganized which made the experience a disappointing one.

I always order my spinach and chicken calzone from here. It's always delish and also pretty descent size. Chicken Alfredo platter is also great

An unexpected find in a shopping center dominated by Ben and Irv's. They serve Italian, Greek, Israeli, and other mid-east/south European foods. We tried the lamb and chicken kebabs, which were very nicely served on a very light pita, with a very nice, fresh salad or soup and a side. We both had the grilled veges to compensate for all the bread we were eating. The basket of freshly baked, warm bread sealed the deal for a return visit. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the decor attractive and comfortable.

Food is ok but the management wouldn't honor the check in coupon they advertise on yelp for $5 lunch special. It's only $1 more but it's the principle of it. Why have the coupon if won't honor. Like I said food ok so if I'm in mood for gyro , will probably be back.

Great place to dine in or pickup/delivery. Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Da bistro is really the only place to get quality Mediterranean food in the area. It's also nice they serve Italian food as well. My wife and I recently ate here and she ordered a Mediterranean dish and I ordered an Italian dish, best of both worlds!
